Altronics RED ALERT 8 egt engine management

The oil accumulator is complete and the red alert system you will have to order the egt probes. They are $65 to $95 depending on the style you want. These items came in a car we traded for and we have no need for them.

Will take $250 for the Red alert system and $150 for the Moroso oil accumulator.


As per Jegs:

The Red Alert is the first data recording system specifically designed to record engine cylinder exhaust temperatures (EGT)! Not only does it record up to 8 EGT's but it also records engine RPM and has a settable warning output. The warning output can be used to activate a warning light, enable fuel enrichment, shut down NOS or ignition, retard timing, ect. All real-time and recorded data can be played back on unit or downloaded and graphed on a PC.

The Accumulator is tapped to the pressure side of the engine��‚��„�s oiling system. When the engine is running, oil pressure forces reserve oil into the accumulator and compresses the air ahead.

If oil pressure should suddenly drop because of hard acceleration, severe cornering or hard braking, the air pressure immediately sends oil to the main galleries. When the danger is over and the pump is once again primed with oil, the oil pressure forces oil back into the Accumulator where it is ready for the next emergency.

Moroso Oil Accumulators provide an instantaneous supply of oil when pressure falls below a safe level. Our professional series Accumulator, designed for all-out competition, is now available with a 3- or 1.5-quart capacity. The 1.5-quart version is perfect for Sport Compacts and other vehicles with 4- and 6-cylinder engines. Moroso��‚��„�s Accumulator 2 (No. 23930) is intended for street performance and mild off-road applications, and features a 1.5-quart capacity.

All Accumulators store oil under pressure and automatically release that oil to the main galleries when oil pressure drops. Moroso Accumulators can also be used to manually pre-lube engines before starting to prevent cold-start scuffing and premature bearing wear.
