Chassis was built from an Alston Pro-Gas 2X3 main frame kit, T.I.G welded, was told it was a 4130 chromoly cage, due to the light weight of the car I believe this to be true but have not had the car sonic tested, although as listed, it had a valid IHRA and NHRA chassis certs., both expired tags are still on the main hoop.
The 383" engine was just freshened, had 105 previous runs, not run since, heads are not on it.
The 358" engine has Brodix #9 aluminum heads on it.
The 364" engine is also just freshened, all lunati components, Dart 215 heads, not started yet.

Questions & Answers about this ad

Question:

Hi.. I'm very interested in your car but I have a back halved 1970 AMX one of 4200 made by AMC for sale. Need to sell or trade that. If I don't find a deal soon my car will also be put to the side and I guess cut it up to make it lighter,, Hate to do it, it's a very clean rust free car I owned since 1975... Everyone seem like they want to follow Chevy's and not take my car and put their engine in it.. If you know anyone check out the pictures on my Home page here on Racing Junk... Peace, Bill

Answer:

I'm not looking for any trades, I have dropped the price on this car twice, and at what its at now, I could never replace it. If it goes into storage, it will be a great pro-tree car next year for us to run a limited schedule with as we will be racing (2) dragsters also. If things change on your end, feel free to get in touch, unfortunately I don't know anyone looking for a car right now, take care: Pete On [2009-11-11 22:20:10] nhra326 wrote: > Hi.. > I'm very interested in your car but I have a back halved 1970 AMX one of 4200 made by AMC for sale.
